Second Blog!

This is my second blog. In case you do not know, my project is about having a summer job. I will be trying to move up in my job, progress, and become successful in the work field. this process is a challenge for me to be great at what i do, stay positive, and improve sales for Burger King. With this job it its helping me prepare for the future, improving my people skills, and giving me a great experience that i can carry on threw out life. I feel a sense of independence when i work and earn my paycheck. Its a great process and a wounderful topic for this project.

This week i have worked three out of the four days that i am scheduled to work. Monday i worked in the front as cashier from eleven-thirty to five. Wednesday i worked in the back on the broiler, which is the oven that cooks the meat, from eleven to two. Today, Friday, i worked eleven-thirty to two-thirty in the kitchen on the broiler again. Then, on Sunday i will be working from eleven-thirty to four. Next week i will also be working four days with long hours. My hours and the days i work has escalated tremendously. This is a big improvement and shows that i have been making great progress, which is one of my goals.

This job is important and to maintain a good working enviornment, interacting with my co-workers and getting along is the key. My co-workers are great. My first interview they were very nice and welcoming. Working with them makes the job that much better. It is a good, positive enviornment to be in. My first day on the job i was nervous but they made me laugh and comfortable. It makes the job fun, a more memorable experince and i look foward to the days i work.
At the end of next week i will post my third blog and keep updating about how work goes each week.
