Starting off the first week of "Galaxy 2" was what I call a W.M.D(weapon of mind destruction).Currently,I just completed scenes one through six, which chronicles Drake's(the main character)journey back to his hometown, finding it nearly destroyed.
Much to my disbelief, this is one of the more mind-torturing experiences in any of my writings so far. My idea began with knowing what the beginning and ending was going to be,leaving me a link to connect between both points to assure it not becoming sloppy. This is the difficult part for me,leaving multiple options of how a certain scenario will play out, resulting in how it will affect the characters and the world around them. This however,is only part of my thought process during that time, with the other being emotions being portrayed in the characters, allowing you to connect with them to a certain level. The emotional tension between characters,no matter if its love, friendship,or hatred, increases throughout the entire story, even if it is not shown, and also changes the characters as a person, leading them think do the unthinkable, desire the undesireable,or do the undoable.
For a summary of the first six scenes, each will be stated in one to two sentences.
1.Drake trains and is assigned a mission to spy on the humans.
2.He battles his way back to Earth.Later,he discovers that an enemy he killed two years ago may still be alive as well as his hometown possibly being destroyed.
3.It is confirmed that the man is alive after nearly being killed by him in a military base.Drake also discovers the mass production of his signature weapons from the first story.
4.He wakes up in his hometown and finds out that is not destroyed but is in a harsh condition.Drake reunites with a friend and possible love interest from two years ago, however;she lost all trust in him.He pleads for forgiveness and pledges to do anything for her trust.
5.Drake reunites with another friend and his former boss, who tells how the other town was destroyed and how the army gained access to Drake's weapons. It is also revealed that the city is fenced in.
6.They three set up a plan to escape the city and put it into action.
I DO NOT MEAN TO OFFEND ANY RELIGIOUS BELIEVES WHEN I STATE THE FOLLOWING:It is like you are the god of the story, and the story is your Earth. It is created in how you picture what you want it to be,and its fate is decided by only you.If anyone wants more insight on this or any of my other stories, please contact me or post a comment.
Is this a sequel to a plot you already made? have you actually made the video game or are you just writing a story line? could you tell about the first plot you made, so that we know what you are working off of?
